  Indy Parkinson's Disease Symposium
This Saturday, Expedition Cure met and presented with the Young Parkinson's of Indiana (YPI) support group at Strand Analytical Laboratories of Indianapolis following the 11th annual Parkinson's Symposium sponsored by the Parkinson's Awareness Association of Central Indiana (PAACI) and co-hosted by Young Parkinson's of Indiana. Nearly 200 people registered to hear Dr. Catherine Willner, Durango, CO, speak about functional medicine. Dr. Joanne Wojcieszek also talked about 'What's New with PD?" A panel of medical experts also answered questions from the audience. Dee Garrett and Paula Tomlin, state co-coordinators, also spoke briefly regarding the Parkinson's Action Network (PAN).

The Parkinson's Action Network is the unified voice of the Parkinson’s community—advocating for more than one million Americans and their families. PAN increases awareness about Parkinson’s disease and seeks increased and accelerated federal support for Parkinson’s research.

Special thanks to Paula Tomlin and Scott Newman for giving us the opportunity to participate!
